Tennessee

We went down to Gatlinburg last Friday for a long weekend. It was annual family reunion time! It was a totally different type of trip with Olivia. We stopped more frequently getting down there and coming back home. She could only take so long in her carseat. It also took us much longer to get ourselves together each day and our sightseeing was limited but, that was all okay because it made our trip more easy going. We did still get to eat Krystals...mmmmmm. We also got our beer cheese and pretzels from the Smoky Mt. Brewery. Yeah...we didn't go hungry. It was soooooooo HOT!

The Walker Family reunion is held each year in the Smoky Mountains National Park. It was great to spend time with family and introduce them to Olivia. Olivia had a great time in the water too!

New Toy

Rob's parents stopped by today to deliver a new toy that Aunt Debbie got for Olivia. It is such a neat toy with all sorts of sounds and things to play with. Olivia had a blast with it. Thank you Debbie! ~Kim

Catching up!

I saw Eclipse with the girls. I thought the movie was the best of the Twilight Saga. I'm still mad that Robert P. plays Edward in the movie because for those of you that have read the books...Jacob should not be better looking than Edward. Taylor Lautner did not disappoint...geez...is he 18 yet??? So funny that we ended up at a special showing and the girl that plays Angela (Who?) was at the theatre for a meet and greet. We went to Chipotle before the movie and tried out the margaritas. Wow...they were strong and only $4. Who would've thought...Chipotle?

Along with the P family, we held our annual 4th of July gathering at Great Meadows. I think everyone had a good time. It was way too hot. Olivia kept me very very busy. It was hot...she was cranky...and we lost her pacifier. Not fun. Of course, she finally fell asleep when the fireworks started. The Sheltons stayed overnight and were wonderful house guests.

A few of us went to Eggpectations the next morning for brunch. Yummy! Afterwards, we had a relaxing day hanging out with friends stopping by to help us finish off the keg from the Fourth.

My Aunt Carol and Uncle Bob were also in town...staying with my parents. We drove up to the Shore to visit with them ending up in our favorite spot...St. Michaels.

When Olivia and I did our shopping last week, she got to ride like a big girl in the cart. She enjoyed this!

Rob's birthday was this past weekend. It was also our friend Jacob's 2nd birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACOB! Friday, Rob's parents took us out for dinner. We met friends at Farmers and Fishers at the Georgetown waterfront on Saturday.

Sunday, we went to our friend Laila's first birthday party. She had the cutest dress on! She enjoyed her birthday cupcake very much! We wished the Shelton's lived closer so we could see them more often!!!

Big Girl Crib

We lowered Olivia's crib because her friend Laila is coming to stay overnight. Olivia is such a great host that she is offering up her crib to Laila while she bunks in our room in her pack and play. She's slept fine with it lower, so we'll probably just keep it that way.
