The family is doing great. Aside from the projects, we're at least getting to spend some quality time together. Last weekend, Rob and I saw Wicked at the Kennedy Center. It was so amazing! We have Olivia's school pictures to post (from winter and spring) once Rob scans them in (and I need to mail them out...eventually...yikes...sounds like another project!) I have discovered the Keratin Blow Out which I'm addicted to. It makes my hair straight without all the work. Our most exciting news, Olivia is off the pacis! She was doing okay without them except at sleeps times and in the car. We threw the pacis out Friday night and she hasn't had one since. She fell asleep tonight without even crying! Olivia is moving up to the Red room (toddler room) in about two weeks. We had parent orientation a few days ago. We purchased our napper this evening. It is basically a sleeping bag. She will be sleeping on a cot in the Red room. No more crib at school! Such a big girl! Anyway, hope this post finds everyone doing well out there!

We have been very busy with projects around the house lately. Will it ever all be done? No need to answer. We got new countertops in our kitchen and bathrooms. The bathroom in our basement is complete (minus a few details).

Birthday Boys

Recently, Rob celebrated a birthday. Our friends' son Jacob did too! Jacob celebrated at a bounce place. Olivia wasn't feeling the bounce until the very end, but she had fun playing in the other rooms. Rob and I went out to National Harbor the evening before to celebrate his birthday. The next day we went over to Rob's parents' house for a nice and relaxing birthday dinner.

Happy 4th of July!

We headed out to Great Meadows for the annual event we have with Matt & Amanda! We all had a great day! Olivia and I did much better than we did last year! Olivia understood more of what was going on, was able to run around, and she didn't lose her only paci! The food was great this year! The decorations were super cute! It rained a little bit, but wasn't as hot as last year. Thanks to everyone for coming! Can't wait until next year!
