Titleless...

I've never been a fan of having to title my entry. So, this one doesn't have a title.

Not much to report...we had a good weekend, but plan on having an even better coming weekend! With Eclipse coming out in theatres and the best Fourth of July party planned...I'm excited! Rob had to work late Friday which was a bummer. :( But, he got to have a man day on Saturday with golf and poker. I went to a BBQ that my previous boss held. It was really good to see people that I used to work with. Saturday evening, I watched When In Rome with my friend. The movie was cute. Sunday, it seemed like I was having a "CAVE DAY" with Olivia which was very relaxing. I love that she is older and I can snuggle in bed with her. Anyway, hope everyone has a good week! ~Kim

Playtime!

Happy Friday everyone! This week we bought Olivia her very own highchair. She loves sitting in it! I think she feels like such a big girl! I love it because it is easier to feed her and she sits and plays while I cook and wash dishes (which I feel like is 90% of my day...well...at least the dishes part...I'm a cleaner...not a cooker...I don't love to iron either).

I also took more of Olivia's clothes out of circulation this week. She is so big!!! That may have something to do with how much I'm feeding her. I feel like every time I turn around it's time to feed her. On my friend's advice, I checked out the Gerber website and it had great menu ideas. So, I'm trying that out to make sure she gets a balanced diet. She tried oatmeal this week and chicken with chicken gravy (YUCK!). She actually gags on it. Anyway, for those keeping track...she is in 6 - 9 month clothes, but even fits nicely into 9 month clothes. I've filled up two big containers with her clothes. Yup...I'm saving them for a possible future sister or a lucky friend's future daughter. Olivia played so nicely while I completed this chore. ~Kim

Father's Day

We visited Bass Pro Shop for Father's Day. The store was massive and even included an aquarium. We ate at their restaurant and the food was tasty. Olivia sat in a highchair for the first time and did great!

Olivia also tried the cracker puffs for the first time. Well, she tried. She was able to pick the puff up, but couldn't get it in her mouth. But, when the puff fell to the floor...Jordyn was able to get it in her mouth. We bought new dog food for Jordyn. For the first time ever, Jordyn actually likes her food. Thank you Chef Michel. ~Kim

6 Month Dr. Appt

Happy Friday! Olivia had her 6 month dr check up today. I've gotta say...one of my favorite things to occur this week is that Direct TV came out to the house to install some stuff and now we have multi- room DVR capability. That's right...I watched my recording of Glee in bed last night! ~Kim

Schedule Adjustment

Today I tried Olivia on a new napping and eating schedule. I thought this was a good time to do so since she's going to be eating baby food and formula now. She's still getting used to it because she fell asleep in the middle of eating. ~Kim

Movies Under the Stars

Saturday, our neighborhood had an outdoor movie event. They showed Kung Fu Panda. The movie was really cute and the weather turned out to be just right! It was really fun! ~Kim

Grand reopening!

Welcome to the new blog! I feel like there is some expectation that this blog will be better, but nope...you get the same stuff! I promise I won't change the address again!

Today, Olivia is 6 months old! We made it through six months and are all doing really well. Olivia is developing such a personality and she amazes me every day with what she can accomplish. She is getting really good at sitting up by herself.

(No...she doesn't match today...it is raining and we're trying to stay warm and comfortable...we're not going anywhere anyway...stop judging!) ~Kim
