Happy Thanksgiving!
We went over to Rob's parents house for Thanksgiving. The food was delicious! Rob's cousins were so cute and called Olivia "Baby Olivia" all day. We went to see Christmas lights that evening and turned Olivia's carseat to forward facing so she could see them. Today, we went up to Maryland to visit with my parents.

Olivia took her first steps this week!
Olivia's school had a Thanksgiving lunch for parents this week. The food was so good! I wish Olivia would have eaten some. She is so picky about eating food that isn't baby food. I love that I have school events to participate in now....so fun! Olivia loves banging on everything. While at the lunch, she started drumming on another baby's head. Embarrassing....

I apologize for being so behind with the blog. We are all still adjusting to the new schedule. On top of everything...the three of us got sick. Other than that, everything is going really well! I love my new job. Olivia is doing well in daycare. Here is a little bit of what we've been up to....
Olivia started daycare. I think she has fun there. She doesn't love it when we leave her in the morning, but she's adjusting. I think she's learning a lot. On her first day, the teachers sat her down for lunch and put actual solids in front her instead of giving her baby food. I hadn't tried food yet because I was so scared she was going to choke. We're working on it now, but she is so picky!

We took Olivia up to our neighborhood park and we got her swinging for the first time.
Rob's dad received tickets to the redskins v. cowboys game and he was kind enough to give them to us! Yeah...skins!
We also took the time out for a family vacation. We went to Myrtle Beach. Olivia loved the water!
We also celebrated tons of birthdays to include my birthday and Jordyn's birthday.

Good news seems to be in the air these days! I got a new job. I will be starting with Virginia's Dept. of Juvenile Justice as a probation officer in Prince William County on September 20th. I'm really excited about this new adventure, but very sad to be leaving Olivia. It will be good for her though too. She will be starting daycare. We're really happy with the place we enrolled her in, so hopefully she'll enjoy herself. We bought Olivia new "big girl" carseats. We also bought baby gates and other baby proofing items. Jordyn hates the gates, but actually we enjoy that it keeps Jordyn in line too. During the last couple weeks, we've also visited with friends and family which is always nice. On a side note, someone decided to drive a golf cart into the water behind our house last weekeed. Olivia is 9 months old today!!!!
